How to Convert UE4 Quixel Assets to an UE5 Project?
- Most common problem are the Blend Materials that can’t be used on Nanite.
- How can you migrate UE4 Quixel assets to a UE5 project and converting the assets to Nanite?
I couldn’t find any documentation or specific videos showing that process.

You can add Quixel assets directly from UE5 using Bridge. You can select the quality (e.g. nanite) just drag and drop them from Bridge into your project scene.
If you don’t import as nanite you can always open the static mesh and enable nanite there.
If some of the textures look weird or blurry when they come in, they may have been imported as Virtual Textures - just go to the textures, select them all, right-click and convert them to regular textures.
