Back in UE3 it was possible to use a Skylight to adjust the darkness of shadows in fully dynamic scenes, but that is no longer possible. The Skylight simply does not work without precomputed lighting.
So my next idea was to adjust post-processing, but I still can not adjust the harsh blackness of dynamic shadows. I do not want to just adjust the levels of the scene, I can do that with color grading. I need to stop dynamic shadows from going to solid black.
