How to adjust rotation speed via timeline?

Hi, so I’m trying to make a jet that rotates starting slowly and then reaches its full rolling speed.It looks like a timeline would allow me to create a curve to specify the acceleration of roll, but I don’t know how to hook it up when using mouse input as the event.
How do I get the timeline to know i want to mouse input roll left or right and get that acceleration and momentum when rolling in there?
