My computer rebooted accidentally when downloading purchased contents.
Now the item appears in Vault, but when I try add it to project, nothing is copied.
I deleted the folder in my vault cache, but the item remains in Launcher, thus I can’t download it again.
How may I delete it completely and download again?
I think that will work. Your files should be downloaded to programfiles(x86)/epicgames/launcher/vaultcache. If you delete that and you relaunch it should sync with your account to redownload the asset. Honestly it should see that you didnt complete the download and resume where it left off but I could be wrong. I know when downloading an engine version it will verify that the download was fully successful or resume where it was left off. Not sure about marketplace content though, has not happened to me before. If this was successful for you please mark it answered for tracking purposes. Best Wishes!
EyeDee10Tee, thank you for the answer. But I am sorry to say it didn’t work. I even renamed the whole vault folder, but everything in the vault of Launcher keeps existing. I think there must be some file recording what has been downloaded, although I haven’t found any clues in the /epicgames/launcher folder.
Thank you, Mopperl, but unfortunately I deleted the folder at the first place. Now there is no drop down arrow for the item. I am trying making a fake folder, but I think the missing manifest file may be important…
