How do I optimize volumetric lightmap resolution/position.

I have to scenes where the character can teleport from, I wan’t to fix some lighting issues with movable objects so I’m trying to optimize the volumetric lightmap density (called indirect lighting cache as well) However I am able to change the resolution, but I would as well move it and make it smaller.

Is there a way to manually move the volume around? or what influences it to go beyond?
