Curious.
The first note is using a subtractive (to black) pattern.
The second one is more like a comic book.
I dont think the first one can properly be simulated like the video shows because the lines aren’t a constant width and it relyes heavily on that to increase the shading.
I suppose you could modify the shader so that instead of a set of lines you’d be adding and enarging some sort of scales like pattern, but i doubt automating the process would leave you with such clean results as the artist’s work…
Also because its bot like the second style, where to increase shade you criss-cross the lines in creative ways… there is no criss crossing, just distortion of the thickness of each line.
