How can i fix my lightmaps?

Hello everyone, I’m new to both UE4 and modeling, and I was struggling with my first prop, specifically with its lightmap. Is there anyway to make it look better?

If you’re trying to fix the lightmap in UE, there’s only a limited number of things you can do. One of them being changing the lightmap resolution in the static mesh editor and hitting ‘apply changes’.

But if you really want to get control over the lightmap layout, you have to do it in an external program. Blender etc.

PS: It basically looks ok. It could do with a little more surface usage, but that’s about it…

It works!! I modyfied the UVs and set my mesh lightmap to 128, and my floor to 512 and that did the trick. Thank you again
