How can I change the animations I have?


I’m looking to change the Idle, walk, and run animation on the ue4 mannequin I have. (I’m using 4.27.2 of UE)

But I’m not entirely sure how to do that, the mannequin I have in my game is using the basic animations the ue4 mannequin gives you by default, but I want to change out the animation for the custom one I wanted to use.

Any help?

The Character uses a skinned mesh component, which in turn has an Animation Blueprint that determines which animations are playing.
You should open the Animation Blueprint and change how it works, to reference your new animations instead of the default ones.
You can also create an entirely new Animation Blueprint from scratch, again using your new animations, and set that as the Animation Blueprint for your Character.
