I’ve recently come across an issue with hit events detection.
Making it really brief, basically I have a skeletal mesh arm that holds a tool, which is a child to the arm. The arm has NoCollision preset enabled and is rotated by mouse movement, which causes the tool to collide with multiple objects in the scene. Both the objects and the tool have their collision presets set to BlockAll and Simulation Generates Hit Events property checked.
And with all these settings the objects and the tool simply overlap each other without any collision detection at all (The Event Hit node never launches).
I have never experienced a problem like this before. Perhaps it has something to do with the mouse control of the arm and therefore the tool?
