Help with re-sizing and materials

Okay so I am being lazy and putting some place holder materials down on some objects. The main object is a cube i stretched out and slapped a material on but the material is also stretched out. I am new to all this so any help would be nice.

Do you use meshes or bsp brushes? :slight_smile:

If you are talking about the cube that i stretched out then it was a cube from the basics tab…

Ok, then I think it’s a bsp :slight_smile: -> go to the detail tab - geometry tab - there at “alignment” you have to choose another setting

To answer the other side of this question if you use a Static Mesh versus BSP you can use a Texture Coordinate Node in the material.

This will allow you to set the tiling/scaling of the texture in the UV.
