Help with a panner fade

Hey everyone! I’m sort of new to Unreal and I am loving every moment of learning about new stuff.

So I am tinkering around with this material in the engine which is a Decal, now my situation is that I’m trying to make it pan into existence as the player enters a trigger box volume. Now I’ve got it to pop into existence but this seems very boring and very aggressive so I’m trying to figure out how to go about making it either fade into existence or like pan into existence.

So far I’ve got a timer node on a decal material with a scalar for the opacity which I think will solve the issue with having it fade in but, is there any way I can get a material to pan?

I’ll take some screen shots here in a bit to demonstrate what I’m trying to achieve. XD
