[Help!] Forcing movement on an AI pawn.

I’ve been working on a system for a while, which seemed like it should be fairly easy. I’m currently in limbo, because a major UE crash has made me revert to my last backup and, rather than continuing to bang my head against this, I’m taking a break of a week or two to upgrade from 4.15 to 4.17.

I need to move a non-possessed AI character on a keypress. It’s important to not possess it, as the currently possessed character needs to be moving at the same time.

I’m using multiplayer. I’ve passed the keypresses from the player character to the server. On the server, I’ve tried using AddMovementInput, and the character sits there stubbornly.

Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong??
