Hi everyone!
I’d like to know how can I make my spotlight (flashlight ingame) move with my player camera. I have attached it to him and it moves around with him but if I look up or down, it stays in the middle, like if my player doesn’t move the hand
One way is to attach it to a socket -> ?v=oZhU-Ie6wjw (place it into the blueprint component instead of the level)
Also make sure to post a picture of your setup so that we can see what you already have.
I already have the spotlight inside the blueprint’s components, and it’s a FPS.
Than you anyway!
A bit off topic but just so you know you can make spotlights a bit more interesting with IES light profiles: https://docs.unrealengine/latest/INT/Engine/Rendering/LightingAndShadows/IESLightProfiles/index.html#spotlights
Just drag the spotlight onto the FPS weapon or Camera.
But have you attached it to a socket?
Shirks solution should also work.
Thank you for your youtube video link. I was facing some problem to create or draw tactical flashlight / or tactical spotlight or powerful light that everyday use!
I like the helpful info you provide for your articles. I’ll bookmark your weblog and take a look at once more right here regularly. I’m moderately sure I will be informed plenty of new stuff proper right here! Best of luck for the following!
You don’t need to attach it to a socket, just attach the light to the camera component, then it will automatically follow you (the camera).
