I followed along with the official Unreal tutorial for retargeting different skeleton: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xy9aLbZLdeA&t=574s In this video it explains how to setup a rig and basically remap all of the bones for my character to match that of the skeleton I want to mimic animations from. After this it shows how to update the base pose so they’re both matching and then how to re target the animation. When I do this however my character becomes totally giant and completely distorted where it’s basically just a head and hands. What can I do to fix this?
I found another post with the same issue but there wasn’t a resolution on it that I could see. I’d like to mention that I don’t have Maya or any 3D modeling tool. Is there a way I can fix this within UE4?
