Having trouble with partially emissive materials.

So I made the ‘Tron’ Material described in this video:

It looks exactly like it should in the previews when I edit it, but when I apply it to things in my level they just turn a very bright emissive white- and not just at the edges like it ought to; it displays just like it was a simple featureless but very bright white emissive material. I can only see the color that’s supposed to be everywhere but the very edges if I turn the glow off entirely; even if the glow variable is set to .001 it still shows as pure white in the level, even though you can’t even see the glow in the preview.

Anyone have any idea what I’m missing?
