Hair material isn't casting any shadows and looks flat

I bought a hair mesh and materials off turbosquid but after importing it into UE4, not only does the hair look way thinner than the image on the website, but the texture is also very flat and the colour looks the same all over. The blend mode is on translucent, but even when I change to opaque or masked the hair still casts no shadows. I’ve tried every shadow setting I can find on the material and the mesh, as well as prompts (r.Shadow.RadiusThreshold).
I’m still relatively new to UE4 but I’ve tried everything I could find on google and still nothing.
