Working in UE5.
I am attempting to use an autoterrain for my heightmaps - in order to keep my plains grassy and my mountains rocky while maintaining the ability to paint layers when needed. However, it seems the system thinks EVERYTHING is the grass layer and, although I can paint to some degree, I can’t undo the painting by trying to paint grass back over it and when I apply the grass node, it covers everything with grass… I know I can attempt to use procedural foliage for grass static meshes, etc but that seems unnecessarily tedious. Is there a way to fix this issue and maintain my autolandscape?
Thanks in advance.
