I really need help making a system to grab items and move them with the mouse, but using unreal top down. Since I’m using top down “line trace by channel” doesn’t work, so I have no idea how to do it. Help me please.
Why doesn’t line trace by channel work? If something else is in the way, you can always set up additional, item-exclusive channels rather than rely on visibility alone.
Are you sure you’re tracing from the camera? Tracing from the character in a top-down scenario is probably not the best idea.
