I’m planning on making an asset pack filled with a few melee weapons. However, I’m unsure about what would be required to have it “functional”. Let me explain.
I have no issues with how to create the asset itself - however, I see a lot of people asking about adding a skeletal mesh. Is it simply adding a skin modifier with a bone and check the required checkboxes in Unreal on import(Making it a skeletal mesh instead of static mesh)?
Its pretty clear to me that this is required to make it work with pretty much any blueprints. I just want to be sure not to miss anything when working on the set.
