For the past 2 days i have been trying to fix a problem whenever i try to launch Unreal engine it just shows "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run this engine." Does anyone know how to fix this?

You have an old video card that does not support DX11 or does not support all features of DirectX 11. What video card are you rocking atm?

Did the engine work before and stopped working? What is the video card - dedicated or integrated?

Does the above-mentioned feature appears to be supported when you launch dxdiag?

To be perfectly honest, to see a message like this you’d need to either run a very outdated version of Windows or outdated drivers. Both Windows and drivers up to date?

edit: if you’re running a laptop with both dedicated and integrated video card, there’s is a slim chance the application is not picking up the correct video card at launch. I haven’t seen this pop up for years for UE4 but who knows.
