So I made a mini video showing the effect in question where you can push yourself forward.

I can think of several ways to remedy this but was wondering if there as an engine setting or an appropriate way to setup an object to avoid this effect.

That way i do not know.
I disabled it for some objects, with a boxcheck.(while overlap set bool = could ride the T = false)
But when you add a physics handle to your T and grab it, then you can fly with it!
