Hi, I have Paint Foliage. When i click a Foliage (left Selected Tree) then my Pivot is on (see right).
On The Pivot is the Same Mesh and when i delete the Selected Mesh, then the Mesh is deleted on Pivot.
When i select With Lasso, all Type of Selected Mesh get selected and delete.
I cannot delete the Selected Mesh without delete all other Foliage of this Type.
I have tried Delete all Foliage and delete Landscape and add new.
But nothing Works. I Use Unreal Engine 5.1.1 with enable Nanite.
Thanks for help.

Hey there @joergselters! So foliage is actually just a fancier Instanced Mesh. Instanced meshes are actually one actor with many meshes under it, which is why the pivot is far away. You’re not actually meant to select and move these objects this way, you should only be interacting with them via the foliage tools. Say you want to erase that one tree? Grab the erase brush and shrink it to a size to only hit that tree.
Thank you for your reply.
I found out that it’s unique to Nanite Foliage. Turning off nanites allows me to select and delete and move the mesh as it should.

Interesting! I see that now as well, that’s definitely not intended. I’d report that as a bug, it’s likely the case due to nanite foliage being still in beta. I figured it was reacting like it’s instanced brethren but it seems like it’s acting a bit off.
