Foliage fill tool erases foliage

whenever i use the fill tool on a ladnscape it erases all foliage i manually placed instead of covering the landscape entirely with foliage. is this something its supposed todo?

Hi ,

The Fill tool is designed to set the density of the paint tool, so that you can fill the brush by the amount designated within the fill tool. It is not intended to fill the entire landscape with foliage. You can find more information on this at this page:
