Tried googling, tried youtubing, tried chatgpt, can’t figure it out, I saw a post on Reddit with a similar issue to mine posted half a year ago but no replies. I created an aim offset, with a look down, neutral straight out, and look up poses. I put all 3 in an aim offset, set them all up, they are all in mesh space, with a selected frame from animation set to frame 0, the base pose animation itself doesn’t have an additive to it. When the pitch isn’t an exact -90, 0 or 90, you can see in the video that the hands start clipping into each other because of the interpolation between poses. The other post I mentioned also did a 45 degree pose in hopes of fixing this issue to no avail(I also tried it, didnt work either). I set up a similar aim offset with the Lyra animations to check if I’m doing something wrong but its messed up as well. So I don’t know if the issue is the interpolation in the engine, or if I am doing something wrong. I went through both tutorials in the documentation, one with the UE5 assets, and one from UE4 with the animation starter pack. Both have the same issue from a first person perspective. Spent the last half day trying to figure this out, appreciate any help.
