Fingers Retargting

Hello

Am new to ue5 and am trying to find solution to this problem am having.
after retargting the fingers not in the right place.
how to solve this??

Does the pose/bones match the original mesh you are retargeting the animations from? Would you mind sending pictures of the original mesh’s and your meshes hands before the animation?

Any additional specifics you provide may go a long way in solving your problem!

Hey @Alkaseeh!

Your fingers do look a little more splayed out than the mannequin and the hand is turned to a different angle which may be affecting your retargeting. Have you tried adjusting the receiving pose (the pose of your model) in the IK retargeter?

I have found the solution, in the ik retargeter I clicked on the green line ( middle finger) then in the details source chain was changed to left leg i just change it back to correct chain.
I don’t know why this happen i checked all chain mapping all correct.
