I am very much a beginner in the world of unreal. I am familiar with C++, C, C#, Python, Java, HTML, CSS, JS, php, and about a million more, so I understand the logistical side of things, but for the life of me I cannot create a decent (or even passable) looking environment for a day-z style zombie game that I am creating as an exercise in understanding unreal engine. I’ve found several online, but I can’t justify spending $50 on a landscape to help me learn UE. Seeing as I need practice before creating my own, I’d like to find another person’s map and work with that.
This is one that I particularly like (I don’t need moving cars or any bs like that, I literally just want the landscape), but once again it is 50 dollars! Can anyone help me find a landscape that works for me? Or, if you think that I could understand and learn easily enough, offer advice on how to create one (keep in mind that I found blender/mudbox/3dsmax pretty challenging lol).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
