Fence Generator Colllision question

Hey Guys,

i am creating a fence generator to place random fences. And now i try to check if the main pole of the fence has contact to the landscape so i can aling it to the floor, same mechanic as if i place an actor in the editor and hit END key to put it to the floor. I dont know how to implement this to the construction script so far. Do you have any ideas that i can look at?

Do a line trace straight down. The hit of the line will tell you the height to move your fence to. Should be simple enough. Else, post again and I will post a screenshot of how to do it.
