Current character movement component is written for vertical characters. The vertical capsule doesn’t suit four-legged animals, meaning that representing animals in a UE4 game is a real challenge. This has been said multiple times, various threads complaining about this, and still nothing coming up, nothing in the roadmap to deal with this major issue. Please UE4 staff provide some feedback in this area, things are not going to improve by looking elsewhere. This may be a big chunk of code to update with several dependencies, but this is really needed, a game engine handling only vertical characters cannot prerend to be universal. Thanks.
