To check alignment it’s frequently necessary to get a view from the top or side or front.
Unreal has these options but there usage may not be optimal. Large landscapes can end up with full view high altitude and sides maybe obscured by landscape, etc.
The user can also simply alt + LMB to orbit an object but this involves repositioning to each view and if this is a root motion or object with offset pivot the user has to navigate to the correct placement.
A nice option would be the ability switch quickly to top, side, etc using the same FOV and distance as the current view. If you’re 10 meters from the object then the top view will be 10 meters and the side view would be 10, etc. A few shortcuts would allow checking alignment and positioning quickly on any objects.
