FBX 3ds max problem

Hello,

I have a problem with an FBX export from 3ds max.
It’s an appartement model and when i import it in UE, it’s like the entire model is an cube, i cant navigate in the appartement.

i take a screenshot with a simple model of 3 box for illustrate my problem :

Balls and players cant cross the “door”.

i hope u can help me to fix the problem.
BTW, I’m sorry for my english, i’m french.

Hi amiguel,

In order to have proper collision on a concave object, you will need to either create custom collision in Max or import the fbx without collision and add it in multiple pieces within the Static Mesh editor.

Here is some more info on how collision works in the engine.
