Extreme ghosting on DitherTemporalAA surfaces -- Best practice for DTAA node?

Hi, I’m getting extremely apparent ghosting on any grey values on surfaces using the DitherTemporalAA node – Is this the expected result? Can someone point me in the right direction to use this correctly or disguise these results? I’ve seen this node suggested on multiple official sources to handle transparency, and I’m ok with a little artifacting, but it seems strange that I essentially have to avoid any moving surfaces in front of it in order to get a usable effect. Here’s a screenshot of about a second after a quick camera sweep past a test material using the dtaa node.
