We have a separated system from Unreal in the form of a DLL, that needs to fetch and refresh every second (or half second), the XForm of some actors.
We would like to extract and store only the float values of the 4x4 XForm, ideally 16 float values, that can be packed then fetching and assignment should be pretty fast.
Looking at the FTransform and FMatrix, there doesn’t seem to be a API to get that raw float data. FMatrix contains the union M, which is promising but can’t be assigned, then is not useful.
Is there a way to store or extract the XForm data of an actor in raw floats?
