:bell: By popular request from our customers, we’ve implemented a number of highly anticipated updates:

• Added fully undressed body meshes and modular clothing pieces. Now you can easily remove outfits for all characters.
• Introduced new hit reaction and death animations.
• Added facial animations using morph targets for all characters in the bundle. You can now animate expressions with LiveLink or any third-party app.
• To support the new facial morphs, all characters now feature mouths, teeth, tongues, and eyes. Every facial part can be animated with morph targets, bones, or a combination of both.
• All characters now include Control Rigs in Unreal Engine. In addition, we’ve added fully functional Control Rigs for Blender and Maya.
• The weapon handling and combat animation system has been improved. Weapons are now separated from the character and attached via a dedicated blueprint using two bones, ensuring seamless interpolation during animation transitions. Weapons are correctly positioned in the hand, sheath, or on the back.


:sparkles: Proactive improvements by our team:

• We’ve fully transitioned our character core from EpicSkeleton v4 to EpicSkeleton v5 for Unreal Engine, offering better structure and compatibility. All new characters will now be released on the updated skeleton. However, if you require the v4 skeleton, we can provide you with a personal download link to the original files.
• Optimized our character controller and implemented Enhanced Input System, replacing the legacy input setup.
• Added twist bones for all characters. These are already connected to post-process animations and work across all skeletal meshes.
• Configured ready-to-use retargeters and IK setups for faster animation retargeting.
• Introduced a master material to quickly customize skin, hair, or clothing colors.


:rocket: Optimization & Enhancements:

• Fixed minor mesh issues (floating vertices, unstitched polygons).
• Reduced texture sizes and animation weights for improved performance.
• Added functional hotkeys for quick testing:
o Q – triggers the death animation.
o Alt + Down – plays an alternative death animation.
o J – opens the character’s mouth (this block is optional and easily removable; designed for demonstration purposes).


:glowing_star: Coming Soon:

• Our entire lineup will soon be renamed from Medieval Fantasy Characters to Fantasy Characters. We are open to your ideas for expanding this stylized character series! Currently, we are working on four new models in parallel and look forward to your suggestions for future releases.
• New animations will be added periodically. If you have any requests, please feel free to contact us via email or join our Discord community.

We regularly test our characters with popular character systems. Currently supported:

• Advanced Locomotion System (ALS v4/v5)
• Game Animation Sample (GAS)
• Close Combat Swordsman (CCS)
• Lyra Starter Game (LSG)

If you’d like us to test compatibility with another system, let us know. We’ll either purchase the template or collaborate with the developer to prepare a video guide for you.
