I would rather have “official” open sourced ut, no more complaining about epic doing it wrong,
Open Tournament is almost that, all its need is permission to recreate models, layouts, and maybe use original sounds for that extra utish feel.
Something that they let to do with UT3 and older content, we were free to port anything from unreal universe into UT3.
