I have a data set of about 400 images. During the coloring phase under PGM I got an erroneous error that my images exceeded the megapixel limit of the PGM license (all images are under 50mp). I switched to CLI license and tried again, now the program hard crashes on many GPU threads during the Coloring phase. What could be happening? I am using a mixture of PNG and HDR tif images. I tried also disabling HDR coloring and it also fails on preview Coloring quality. Model is only about 90M and have never had this issue before!
That is rather strange. Could you try to switch the coloring style from visibility to photoconsistency for exmaple? Did Texturing go well with the model? It could be that an input image is somehow corrupted.
Many of my images were exported from a drone video. Instead, I imported the video through Reality Capture and it now textures and colors properly.
It would be good to have additional logging on what image is an issue should things like this arise. Out of hundreds of images I had no idea where to even start looking.
Well possibly in the future there will be such detection, but until then, it is expected to have correct inputs.
