EpicGamesLauncher won't start

,I just installed the unreal engine software but it won’t start, I think this may to do with my grahpics card being to low end for it to function correctly with the engine. Anyways I would hope to hear what some of you have to say on the matter, here is my latest log.

Hi Callum98,

Since you think it could be hardware related, could you post your dxdiag (system specs)?

Windows: Go to the Start menu and type ‘dxdiag’ into the search bar. Open that file and then click ‘Save All Information’. Post that text file here.

You are a little low on RAM but the main issue is your graphics card only supports DirectX 9. A graphics card that at least supports DirectX 11 is required to run the Launcher and editor.

Here is what we recommend:

  • Desktop PC with Windows 7 64-bit or a Mac with Mac OS X 10.9.2 or later

  • 8 GB RAM

  • Quad-core Intel or AMD processor

  • DX11 compatible video card
