Enabling metal deferred shading and post processing on iOS

So there was some suggestion (I think, I may have misheard it) that metal on iOS will allow a deferred shading model in the future. I also found a bit of talk about this on the forums. I also heard that there’s also some plans to bring DX11-style features to the next gen of mobile platforms.

How much of this can we get access to now? Is there something I can enable in the engine and rebuild it in order to enable some of this? I don’t care if it runs well, I just want to get a look at what features and support might be in here for post-process effects.
