Enable Root motion after retargeting skeleton

Hello Unreal developers!

I downloaded some Animation packs from Mixamo. And there is no option to enable “in place” for packs in Mixamo. So I enabled root motion inside Unreal Engine. That works, the Animation is moving in place but when retargeting the Animation to another skeleton. It is not working, even if root motion is enabled.

Example Video: The skeleton on the left side is moving in place because root motion is enabled. The Skeleton on the right side uses the retargeted animation and root motion is enabled but not working.

Does anybody got an Idea for “in place” movement for Mixamo animations?
