Editor Tweaks / Suggestions ... (esp for Large Worlds)

Top-20 Editor Suggestions / Wishlist / Fixes…
Feedback based on 4.10… Feel free to PM me for screenshots or clarifications… (thanks in advance Epic… )

[FONT=Arial Black]Viewport Navigation / Selection:

  1. Add a wider range of Camera speeds 1-20 (10+ times faster then the top speed of 8 atm). … (Urgent!!!..)
  2. Fix: Editor -> Right-click over mesh -> Go Here (Often ends up in ‘black hole’ limbo???)
  3. Fix: The F key is an abomination in large worlds as it often defaults to a random angle light-years from actual target meshes.
  4. Fix: Camera Bookmarks affect all viewport windows at same time. But only the current viewport should be affected
  5. Add Edit-> Goto Co-ordinates X,Y,Z etc…
  6. Add a feature to search for / select actors by Tag similar to UDK… (Its accessible via code but excluded from the editor???)
  7. Fix: Allow meshes to be moved as you pan / move around in world off-screen (same as UDK…)
  8. Fix: After PIE is canceled revert camera viewport to location before PIE. (Already exists in INI / Editor options somewhere???)

[FONT=Arial Black]World-Outliner:
9. Fix: Add a Collapse-All option to World Outliner to quickly get back to top-level root folders…
10. Fix: GroupActors in World Outliner can’t be moved to a subfolder w/o breaking the folder hierarchy???
11. Fix: World-Outliner → Filter search box. Right-click → Select → Immediate Children (Doesn’t work if child names differ)
12. Add: World-Outliner → Right-Click → Select → All brother / sister actors in same folder. (helpful if folder is mega large)
13. Fix: Extend Drag / Drop to make the World Outliner window scroll up / down before user lets go of objects (mouse button released).
14. Add: Add additional World-Outliner windows to allow for switching between sections of large maps (only one is active at a time).

[FONT=Arial Black]Content Browser:
15. Fix: Content-Browser: Filter: Level / Maps DateModified is often rubbish and reads 02/01/1 … (Win7 / UE4.10???)…
16. Add: Content-Browser: Filter: Level / Maps DateModified also needs to show the Time… (Win7 / UE4.10???)…
17. Fix: Content-Browser: Duplicating a Material causes the entire selection / filter to reset. (Meshes are not affected, only materials)

[FONT=Arial Black]Cancel option:
18. Add Cancel button: Large de-selection of meshes can cause UE4 to hang indefinitely…
19. Add Cancel button: Cancel file-open if a large level file is accidentally clicked on…
20. Add Cancel button: Cancel static-mesh auto-convex collision operation or add a warning if it’ll take a long time…

Hold Right Mouse button and then scroll. It will modify current speed template(1-8) beyond limits

Sure, that’s been suggested before, but it has never worked for me… Can you think of any reasons why? Thanks!
BTW: Using Asus Rog laptop rigs with external Asus 5-button mouse. Scroll-wheel appears to be working otherwise…

Update:
Discovered the camera speed using scroll-wheel+RMB was already set to max…

That’s why it didn’t appear to work. So the above request is still valid for large worlds

Need a new maximum camera speed that’s at least 10+ times what the existing maximum is…
