Unity has a nice feature in the editor where you can disable a GameObject (actor in the Unreal World) or any component just via a checkbox in the GUI. It can be very helpful for testing to quickly disable an actor or piece of functionality of an actor.
There is such option in the Details panel.
Ok I found it, sorry . You’re talking about ‘Actor hidden in game’. Still this feature does not exist for individual components which would be nice.
Which components do you mean?
You should be able to do that for individual components as well as the entire actor. Make sure to have the component you wish to hide selected when choosing what to hide or else you will get the option for the entire actor if the root is still selected. What kind of component are you having problems hiding?
