This November, Epic will be doing an East Coast Dev Tour, making stops in both ** **and Boston! Similar to our West Coast Dev Tour this past summer, attendees can expect a number of valuable talks from the team on all types of topics. This time, we’re casting the net out to prospective event-goers to find out what you want to learn, see, or hear about in our talks. We’re *really *excited to come hang out with you guys and talk all things Unreal.
High-level topics include Blueprints, Gameplay C++, Editor, Engine, Materials, and VR/Mobile. The schedule is being finalized now, however, attendees can expect around 40 talks available throughout the day.
Wish I could make it so bad, but kids are in school so I can’t really leave the state right now. I hope to make one day though, looking forward to hearing about it though
Boston and are a logic choice for a first east dev tour if you look at the number of people working in the industry. By keeping the same logic New York, Chicago and Toronto should be the next ones
I’d like to hear about how to run scripted events in the editor, how to use the listener, and blutilities - what can be done with them right now and what’s planned for the future.
**UPDATE: Topics and Speakers

I got my registration first day. But isn’t this part of MIGS ? It’s a convention with a VHEF (Very High Entrance Fee). So do I need to shell out extra $$$ to MIGS just to participate in the Unreal tour ?
