Easier to render many smaller assets or one big asset?

Hi I’m new to Unreal Engine 4, only had it since the “free” announcement. I have worked with unity in the past but even then I only did some basic stuff, however I’m find this a lot easier to work with. Any way on to my question is it easier/ better to render the world with many smaller assets or a few big ones all in one fbx?

The advantage of smaller assets is, that you can cull them over the distance + better control over the LOD’s -> performance will be better :slight_smile:
