Summary

The landscape tool just flattened my entire landscape on me and autosaved before I could even stop it. What a shamble. Like flattening Egypt.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Duplicate your landscape
  2. Edit on it with sculpt tools.
  3. Observe the effects On your original landscape that you never intended to even be editing on

Expected Result

My landscape was entirely completely flattened without it even being my intention. A terrible misshap in a workflow process with no way to fix it

Observed Result

This completely sucks and is a waste of my time. Why would you ever let this happen to somebody using your game engine?!

Platform(s)

UEFN on PC. No revision control set up either because it won’t even connect!!

Additional Notes

This should not be happening to a landscape I wasn’t even editing at the time. There needs to be more safe guards in place than this to protect you from having editing changes be done on a completely different landscape!! Fix it!
