I am importing a very complex animation from C4D (Dynamics with Collisions and all baked and exported via “Save Project for Cineware”) to UE. Via Datasmith this works like a charm. Shading and lighting is done in UE. All runs very very nicely and as planned.
Though I would like to run several dublicates of that imported Datasmith/C4D import. Yet, with every trial of dublication the animation seems to get lost, it does not play upon hitting the play button of the imported Level Sequence.
Only workaround I found so far, was to reimport the same C4D a second and third time, but I am searching for a leaner way to have several of these animations play out.
I hope I could make myself clear.
