Any deferred decal we try to drag in crashes the editor. I’ve got “dbuffer decals” enabled, and the material I’m using right now has the decal blend mode set to “DBuffer Translucent Color, Normal, Roughness”. We’re on the latest UE4.12.
Here’s the log:
UE_LOG(LogD3D11RHI, Fatal, TEXT(“Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. D3D device was not available to assertain DXGI cause.”));

Unreal Engine is exiting due to D3D device being lost. D3D device was not available to assertain DXGI cause.
UE4Editor.exe has triggered a breakpoint.
EDIT: So I just found out that it’s the parallax occlusion mapping causing the crash, in my material. Is this not supported?
Hi .
This issue was fixed in the 4.13 release (and later releases).
Cheers
