Documentation says to avoid ambient lighting, like cubemaps, but what about scene capture actors?

https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Rendering/LightingAndShadows/Lightmass/index.html

General question here, but from the documentation linked above, would a scene capture actor qualify as ambient lighting? I was under the impression that a scene capture actor was basically always required in environment set ups. Maybe I’ve been doing it wrong all along?

Thoughts?

It’s recommended to not to use Ambient lighting, if you use Lightmass for indirect lighting so additional cubemaps will break calculated indirect lighting.
Scene captures are used for reflections only, so it will only enhance final image and won’t break anything, because data from them will be calculated properly, taking into account already calculated indirect lighting from Lightmass

Alright that clears up a lot! Thank you very much.
