Hi,
When I’m playing in the editor or in release, and I’m standing in the middle of the area configuered in the oculus rift, the input of my motioncontrollers and or hmd/ character height gets disturbed.
Depending on how close I hold my motioncontrollers, the input for moving my character can be right or wrong. For example When I stand in the middle of the play area and I hold the motioncontrollers close to eachother, my character starts moving up instead of just walking streight forward. Even though nothing of my movement consists of moving up.
When I put my character close to or in the edges of the configured play area or on the edges, all goes fine.
When I hold my head above the desk and hold the motioncontrollers under the table, and I stand close to the edges or on the play area eges, all is fine.
When I’m standing in the middle of the play area and hold my motioncontrollers right up above my head, all is fine.
When I’m standing in the middle, motioncontrollers close together, somehow the wrong height of my character is passed to UE4.
So this could have 2 causes i think:
- My oculus rift configuration is not
fully correct - My height configuration of my motioncontrollers/ hmd is bad
or a combination of the two.
I’ll post the config I used
