Disable rotation fix in UDK?

Hello guys, I’m pretty much out of luck trying to solve this issue for myself, I’m importing a very old map, a map I made in unreal engine 1. i’m trying to import it into UDK or unreal engine 3, every time i import the .t3d it looks alright, and everything seems to be aligned properly, but when I build or restart the project it fixes the rotation so all my brushes are off. i couldn’t find anything about this online and its really stumping me, any help is appreciated.
