Destructible Mesh Filling

Hi guys,

I’m currently working on a remake of the old-school TPS “Giants: Citizen Kabuto”. I managed to import some of the old original assets e.g. house meshes which I wanted to convert to destructibles. Now destructing them doesn’t really result in what I was thinking of (see picture one). As you can see, the chunks don’t have the texturing they’re supposed to or are only visible on one side. Is this something about texture normals or do I have to edit DM parameters here?
