A public service announcement for all you Daydream developers out there:
If you are having fits with the vr_icon & vr_icon_background not updating on your device, you need to delete its Daydream cache.
Setting -> Apps -> Daydream App -> Storage -> Clear Cache
I spend a good half day trying to figure this one out, so figured others might encounter this…
